Quench is Cardiff University's student-run magazine. I've written for Quench throughout university, and this year have had a lifestyle column which runs in every issue of the monthly magazine. Gair Rhydd is Cardiff University's student-run, weekly newspaper. During my time at Cardiff University, I've contributed a number of articles to Gair Rhydd.
Northwich Guardian
In 2009, I spent a week on work experience at the Northwich Guardian. My tasks included re-writing press releases, gathering research and vox pops, and I was given the opportunity to write a few stories, which were published. I learned a lot about the inner workings of a local news paper.
